GOT A COMPUTER IN A CIVIC I BOUGHT. iT HAS NO NAME OR NUMBERS AND VTECH IS NOT WORKIN
First off, car specs? Year, model, etc.
Second, ecu's are located under passenger side front kick panel. If it's missing outer label, pull our ecu and look at the connector location on the ecu, there should also be a tag there identifying the ecu.
Take pictures and post them up and please for future reference, be more descriptive in threads, you will get more responses and help that way.
Here is a couple pictures showing the ECU tag locations.

To the right of a front passenger's feet is a plastic cover called the kick panel. Removal of the kick panel will expose the ECU, which is your car's computer.

That's a home made jumper harness that shows the label p2p-a83. But its a OBD1 ecu.

That is indeed an OBD1 ECU with a homeade conversion harness (actually looks to be well made too) Now take a pic of the sticker on the side of the ECU case, or take the yellow cover off the top and take a pic of the one top the ECU plugs if the one on the side of the case is missing.
