HOW DO I FIX THIS

 

First off, car specs? Year, model, etc.

Second, ecu's are located under passenger side front kick panel. If it's missing outer label, pull our ecu and look at the connector location on the ecu, there should also be a tag there identifying the ecu.

Take pictures and post them up and please for future reference, be more descriptive in threads, you will get more responses and help that way.

Here is a couple pictures showing the ECU tag locations.

^Please toggle your caps lock key off.

To the right of a front passenger's feet is a plastic cover called the kick panel. Removal of the kick panel will expose the ECU, which is your car's computer.

 

Upload your pictures to a site like PhotoBucket and then post the IMG code for the picture into your post.

its a p2p ecu

 

You have the stock ECU for a 96-97 Civic EX (D16Y8 engine) coupe with automatic transmission.

 

NO it's an OBD1 ecu, notice the home made step down harness(it says p2p) but the actual ecu is OBD1.

OP, can you take a picture of the connector location on the ecu, as I posted above?

That's a home made jumper harness that shows the label p2p-a83. But its a OBD1 ecu.

 

You may be right. I just read the ECU code and did not look carefully at the pictures.

 

Anyone want to host these somewhere? I don't have facebook.

That is indeed an OBD1 ECU with a homeade conversion harness (actually looks to be well made too) Now take a pic of the sticker on the side of the ECU case, or take the yellow cover off the top and take a pic of the one top the ECU plugs if the one on the side of the case is missing.

well come to find out it has been chipped

 

Now, the million dollar question, is it a good dyno tune (or even a good street tune) or just some random ebay garbage map on the chip.
