Default Exhaust fitment issues

I just bought a 89 crx si with a dohc zc swap. The car came with megan header & downpipe, test pipe, and stock catback. I bought a bosal oe replacement catback and a magnaflow direct fit cat. All the new stuff fits fine except the cat is about 1.5" short of mating up with the downpipe. if i strech the catback forward to bolt up it almost pulls the catback out of the rubber hangers. Is the problem with the megan header/downpipe/testpipe being shorter then stock? Anyone else use a magnaflow direct fit catalytic converter? Thanks

if you got a flex pipe it should give you some room.
