Default Use of "Seafoam" ???

I have a 93 Del Sol si with 128,xxx miles on it that has been sitting for most of the winter. I want to get it running again, and someone suggested that once I get it running, to use Seafoam in it to basically clean the engine out. Any thoughts ??? From what I've read about this stuff, it could do a decent job, but I'm kind of hesitant. Any help would be appreciated . . .
