okay, so ive looked and looked, and tryed everything..
im just wondering why, my heater is producing little, to no heat?

im in a 91 honda crx si..

here is what i know..

-my heater controls are in my glove box.
-the **** that turns from cold to hot dose not exist. (i do no that if i pull the wire all the way out, that is on hot.)
-the little heat shut off valve thats in the engine bay is turned on so the heat should be coming in my car..
but there is STILL hardly any heat coming in..
any help would be awesome =]

heater core might be stoped up

 

thats the 1 thing i was hoping WASNT the problem. haha.

btw, is there a way to see if it is?
i dont know much about the heating system..

 

the first thing would be check your coolant. if you have low or no coolant, there is nothing hot to push through the heater core. the control valve for the flow is right next to the firewall on the engine side I believe, you could try gently turning that and see if it is just stuck closed, or you might have a broken control wire.

 

CHECK the faq....

Your air mixture flap cable is most likely loose.
