Default What would you buy???

ok, car stolen, stripped, not much left (haven't been able to see it yet). Assuming its totalled and i get my money's worth from the insurance, what would you buy??

I'm thinking either another GSR (newer with the intent on a new turbo project), a prelude (with the intent on turbo eventually) or perhaps a BMW M3 a few years old if i can find a nice one. I think a supra is out -- to expensive for a car that is getting old now. any ideas and reasons why to go one way or another would be appreciated.

I'd get another GSR, with all you know and have learned I'm sure you could make a monster A prelude would be nice too, stick w/ honda/acura, M3s are fast but they don't have near the aftermarket suppost like honda/acura. Good luck with whatever you decide to buy!!

IMO... turbochargin an integra is off the hook... but then again, M3s are pretty damn sweet.. .and already come quick off the bat.

there is a 2001 prelude sh on the lot here in town i may be interested in. the manager just came in today as a patient and may be willing to take the old gsr body as part of the deal to help offset taxes. i dunno... a turbo prelude in the future may not be too bad...????

I would go with the GSR. Working on Preludes is kind of a pain in the ***. Integras are just so much easier.

Hummer H2

Think of the pros and cons..of m3 and teg

m3 parts = expensive, but already has *****.
teg = more affordable, has ***** but a lot more room for advancement.

All about the HUMMER H2!

Preludes are a pita to work on. But they are more exclusive than a civic or integra.

From what I've heard, the ringlands on the prelude's are pretty weak.

I say GSR or a 92-00 civic. I will never get rid of mine, as many times as ive been tempted to.

as the h20 song goes "... dont forget your roots!"

dont forget my offer!

GSR. Seriously. Take all that you've learned and apply it to your new car.

Why gsr over prelude?? is the gsr made any better?? i figured the larger engine in the prelude would be a nice starting point. The SH model is nicer too. they want 20,300 for the 2001 and I can swing a deal with my old chassis if i can get it back, who knows,,,, maybe take the prelude and buy my old chassis back and then put an engine in that eventually??
i'll have to see whats left of it
