Default 98 hatch spring rates

i need help with spring rates because i have absolutely no clue on whats its about....i have a 98 hatch and im in the market for new coilovers....leaning more on gc,im gonna be tracking my car once in awhile but is my daily....i dont want it too stiff but also not too bouncy....any suggestions?

If you're going to be driving on the track, it would behoove you to learn about suspension spring rates. Have a look in the road race/autocross forum, there is tons of info about spring rates for track use.
