CT 1996 DX Hatch- super clean, unmolested
This is sort of a feeler thread. I bought this car is December with plans to use as my commuter and my plans have changed. I own three cars right now and one of them has to go. Here is the info on the car:
96 hatch- 5 speed. The only mod on the car is the late model Si 15" wheels. Everything else is stock. I have a set of lowering springs and good stock struts for the car that are currently not installed. The car has 145,000 miles. The car has spent a lot of it's life in FL so it is not rusted like most Northeast cars. I have maintenance records going back to since the car was new along with the original window sticker. The records are about an inch thick and show the car has been well cared for over the years. The timing belt, water pump, rear brakes, tires, AC and timing belt cover have all recently been replaced. The car has an alarm and remote starter. Clean car fax.
There is a small hole in the mid pipe of the exhaust. The battery is completely dead from not using the car since I bought it. The stock suspension on the car is shot. I am picking up a new battery by the weekend and at the same time might get motivated to take the car to the Bronx to get the exhaust leak fixed. I would be looking to get $3600 for the car. It is in Norwalk, CT. Here are the pics:

I have too many cars right now. Not looking for trades.

Serious question here
I noticed that you have a cluster with a tach on it. Is the 145K you mentioned the actual mileage of the engine? or just the tach?
Last I remember, I've never seen a factory hatch come with a tach installed in the cluster.

I bought the car with the cluster this way. It is entirely possible someone swapped out the cluster at some point. This is my first honda. I am not a honda or hatch expert so I would not know if hatches ever came with a tach.
I have a big paper trail of maintenance records for the car that doesn't show any big gaps. I have a copy of the car fax and it doesn't show any problems related to milage either.

Thanks for the info. I have the original window sticker with the paperwork and will have to check whether it was an option added.
