ok here is the deal, I own a 94 Del Sol Vtec model with a b16a3,got in a accident, my whole front end is done. I found a shell. its a 93 del sol with a z6, but it's automatic, and comes with hasport auto to manual mounts. now my question is how hard of a job is this??. I'd have both cars right next to each other so where can I go wrong?. the only thing I'm worried about is how to switch over the pedals,shift linkage, I read that auto chassis is different then manual, I really don't care about the reverse lights,or the clutch safety switch. I just need some help on that part, hoping to get my sol back on the road soon.

 

the difference in the auto chassis is the frame rail bracket on the passenger side and the obvious automatic items.
the swap is not hard just time consuming. since you have both cars at your disposal it should be relatively easy. with the hasport EGAMH the b16 will bolt right into the engine bay the same as it did originally. then its just a matter of swapping the 5spd components over.

 

actually it really isnt that hard i actually did the same auto to mani an it took maybe about 5 to six hours but it was me an my buddy. the most annoying thing is an this is where i messed up lol is you gotta make sure you screw the ground wire down behind the thermostat housing lol i forgot to an if oyu dont you wont have any spark an the fuel pump wont kick on either but other then that you should be good

 

It's not a hard job at all really. If you have The original Del Sol Vtec cabin harness i'd swap the whole thing honestly. It's not particularly hard, just time consuming.
