Strange I thought the F22B1 head onto F22B2 block was in the FAQ... well shoot.
erik_cd5 Roughly, you will need to open up the oil passage in the block to feed the VTEC port in the head, you will need the VTEC solenoid, you will need to add the wiring for the VTEC solenoid, you will need the VTEC ECM, POA IIRC, and you will need to repin the harness for the new solenoid harness. I think the intake/exhaust manifolds are also different.
The real question, "Is all this work really worth it?"
You will gain 15HP and 8ftlb or torque. Meh. Seems like a lot of work for 15HP.

Would it be better to do the H22A1 head onto the F22B2?
Linky> F22b2 block+H22a1 head, F22 VTEC, F22B/VTEC Well I guess it is in the FAQ...

Yes it will work. Remove the oil control orifice from the B2 block as mentioned. Anything else that may need to be swapped over depends on the OBD of the block that you buy and your chassis.

In the oil passageway in the block, there is a threaded hole. This is the oil restrictor. The Vtec head contains this device in the Vtec engine to allow increased oil to the head.

Thread in any 10mm bolt and pull it straight out. Easy as pie.

It is located in the blocks deck/surface, rear/center.

Here ya go! It's the item circled in red!
