Default SH lude to base

Anyone know the knuckle of an SH is the same as the base? I checked out a dealer online. The part # are different . Anyone swapped out the Sh to base setup?

They aren't the same at all. For one thing the radius rod connects to the knuckle in the SH instead of the lca.

Every single suspension component in the front including the subframes are different between the Base and SH.

Vinuneuro, your right. I was looking at the picture of the knuckle , very slight difference but the lower control arm and rad arm are way different. you happen to know if I will have any problems with interference with base axles if I keep the SH suspension?

The base axles will work just fine. I converted my SH to a base a few months ago as well.

if you keep the sh block, you'll have to fab up a plate that mounts your intermediate shaft to your block. it's a pain.

on here somewhere. if you're okay at fabbing up parts, it just takes time. i suck, and it took me about 5 hours...that includes going to a metal yard and getting the metal to fab. i know i've seen it on here after i had done it. i forget what size piece they recommended, but i'd go a little bigger. my first piece was that size, and i broke it while cornering. i went slightly bigger and didn't have any problem. i did a little searching, and "pirate" on here used to make them...maybe you can get in touch with him and get one
