I have a 95 civic dx with a b18b1 and a gsr manual trans. After going through a couple of upper driver's side motor mounts I realized that when the auto to manual swap was done the stock tranny mount wasn't replaced. Just got the conversion mount today, the old tranny mount zipped right off. With the new one the rear stud hole (stud closest to engine bay) is about an inch forward and I can't get the distance to get it into the mount.

Any ideas?

 

pics would really help, btw the stock manual mount that's welded to the frame rail is either about half an inch forward or back of of the automatic mount, it's been a while since I did one so I don't remember the direction anymore.
