hey so i jus bought a 94 honda civic sedan ex. car has 222000 miles already. heres some of the problems alrdy
1. it grinds going into third unless i shift on low rpms so im guessing im going need a new clutch sooner or later but if u got any more info on that id really appreciate ur time

2. the electronics seem to have issues. the sunroof doesnt work dosnt sound like any power is getting to it so ima check the fuses and see if thats the issue but any more info of what it could be id appreciate it.

3. also the power locks unlock when i flip the switch up but they dont lock when i switch it down so im not too sure what the issue is but its the main issue i would like to fix plus one of the rear door window doesnt go down or up but im guessing thats has to due with the motor that lifts the window up and down.

so these seem to be the problems that i found alrady haveing the car for 2 hours so if u guys/ladies have any info on this issue i would greatly appreciate ur imput so thx for reading this hope to hear ur ideals

 

Sounds like you did "not" get an inspection

I would highly suggest you get one, as it seems you are new to cars

 

definitely check all fuses before going on any further

 

thx for the info will check does fueses no doubt thank you and as for the first reply appreciate the suggestion to get it inspected most likely i will due this jus so i have an ideal on what i may be facing in the future as for experience in cars i would say im pretty decent in knowing whats what.. this isnt my first honda just like to hear other peoples suggestion and opinions helps me narrow down what i may have to due. thx for ur time appreciate u two for ur imput

 

your third gear grind is your syncro / gear assembly going. not the clutch.

 

Okay so check into my 3rd gear assemby and im not to sure what u mean about synchro but but ill check into it thx for te info
