I been looking around for parts for my new Si, and to be honest with everyone i have no clue where to start and where its safe. Anyone know of a good, safe, reliable website where they sale aftermarket parts, and actually send them the right parts?? i know the actual website of the aftermarket part is good, but then again they expect u to pay a lot for a simple exhaust, im kind of looking for a not too cheap not too expensive reliable website.

Do NOT rush into buying parts.

DO search these forums for what others are using if they thread says eBay ignore.

I RECOMMEND Apexi and nothing else.

 

yeah i assumed people would say ebay, never really trusted ebay or amazon on these kind of things... apparently the Si right now already has a APEXI N1 on it...it sounds nice but ionno seems like its rusting, either the previous owner bought a cheap one or, just didnt take care of it very well.

 

Rusting? is it humid or rain a lot where you live?

 

im from VA and everytime winter we always get shitload of snow and rain none stop...luckily this week it hasnt but its still cold. i mean the exhaust sounds nice but i cant lie, it looks brown, i wiped it down with a towel or ionno used sand paper to try to take some off but aint working...plus i think its not the whole exhaust, its only the tip

The browning of the metal could be from heat cycling...it is a combination of carbon from the exhaust and the heat infusing in the metal...happens to machine gun barrels as well...

 

i'm from Va and my apexi WSII is like 4 years old and it hasn't rusted one bit, its stainless you could have a knock off made of crap metal.

i wouldn't say no to ebay just no to ebay no name ****, you can find good deals on used parts on ebay at times, hell i have sold a few things on ebay in my day all legit stuff, but mostly i use the local forums and craigslist now.

 

yeah apexi sounds nice...i kinda of liked that it came out to the side too..but i went with the skunk2 megapower R and it sounds nice, got the intake on it too, now just savind up for headers
