two days ago leaving work. my doors wouldnt unlock with the alarm remote. so i though a fuse might have blown. so i opened it with the key. got in started the car. pressed the drivers side switch to see if it would unlock or lock nothing happened. so yestarday and today i would take off the alarm and open the doors manually. so today getting home to my parking spot. i start pushing the botton And it seems to work when the door is closed and when my key is in the ignition.a other times it wont work. so i tried it with the remote. and it wont lock. the botton only works sometimes.

i think i have a short somewhere in the wiring. havent had the time to take it apart and look at it. when i first got the car the rear doors wouldnt lock. so i replaced the door lock actuators. and everything worked til now.

 

My guess is a problem with the alarm system wiring.

 

this is the first time it happens. im thinking a short in the wiring to the door switch. i might pull the door panel tomorrow when i have a chance.

 

i know this thread is old, but ive been haveing the same problem and now it doesnt work at all but the door lock control just makes a clicking noise.
did you ever find a solution?
