Default I need Spec's on Civic type R struts/springs

So i was getting my Ecu fixed at synapse and my buddy that works there told me he had a set of Civic Type R struts and springs he wanted sell there basicaly brand new from Hmotorsonline. I got them for $150 there already put together he said they will lower the car a lil from stock, which i currently have some old tockio illumians and cheap coil sleves rides like ****.

Question

How much lower then stock will they be?

Whats the spring rates are they actually stiffer?

There going on my 98 civic ex, as there a dirrect bolt on and it my DD so i wanted something nice, i had OEM 99-00 Si struts/springs/forks i was going to use but i figured I'd ****** up the Type R's to good a deal to pass.

Should lower the car about a inch. Give or take a little.

The spring rates are 240lb front and rear. So yes, they are stiffer then what the car had in it.

Yes, they will bolt right on to the car.

No, I haven't.

You would deffinetly be able to feel a difference if you compared them to any other other stock civic spring. Honestly, I think it will be great. The one thing I hated about my stock suspension is how soft it was.

It will be a good improvement, but 240 is still pretty soft. but $150 cant really beat that.

Do CTR's not have the eyelet on the lower rear shocks like ITR rear shocks and LCA's?

Not that I am aware of, they have the normal fork style and size of any regular 96-00 civic.
