Front Carpet Section in 90 Accord . . . Cut to get it out?
I removed the front carpet section in my 90 Accord today and I had to cut the carpet up near the firewall to seperate the two sides. Is this the only way to do it? I would think there would be a clip to seperate the sides but couldn't find it. Just asking out of curiousity, thanks.
I think its common to hondas... I had to cut the carpet on my civic in the same area, i just Super 77 to tact it back down. The alternative was unbolting the dash supports... heh. You pick.
Yep, thought the same thing. "Could take it the WHOLE dash and go from there." Not quite. Well, it's good to know I'm not the only person who had to do it. I just hope it can get it back together without too much of a seam. Thanks.
No cutting for me. With the seats and center console (where the shifter and parking brake are) out the entire floor carpet came out in one piece... the left and right sides are only connected at the rear. I guess it's different for coupes.
