Icon2 Replacement Battery

With all the snow and cold weather in New England, I had to leave my '99 Accord EX` 5-speed sedan in the street with a flashers on while I snow blowed the driveway for a hour. Went to go restart it to pull it in and the battery would not cranck the engine. Afatre recharging got it tested only 389 CCA's. So there are two sizes of betteies for the car group size 35 and 24R?? Whickh is the better battery?

BCI# L W H
24R 260 173 229 [10 1/4 6 13/16 9 ]
35 230 175 225 [9 1/16 6 7/8 8 7/8 ]

Dimensionally they are pretty close. The only way to tell which one may be 'better' is to look at the CCA/CA ratings of each battery and determine which battery you think will work best for you.

24R looks to be a BIT bigger
But the reserve capacity is important also and the 35's seem to have a upper hand on that

I am pretty sure the group 35 was original.
We had a similar issue with ours - took a trip to the store and when I came out it would barely crank. Installing a new battery took less than 10 minutes including cleaning everything off - it's been great since.
