still no brakes. any suggestions?
95 Accord with brake system failure. after Legend caliper and larger rotor install. bled the brakes and got em nice and firm. went to turn the car on and test em out and nothin. pedal low to no pressure. went to the floor before any stoppage. inspected things and noticed a leak between the booster and MC. so i replaced the Master Cylinder. well the problem with not being able to build up pressure still exists. no loss of fluid just wont build pressure. been bleeding them since 5:00pm and it is now 10:28 with no luck. wondering if i should just continue attempting to bleed em or if there is still an under lying issue i cant see. any suggestions?
are they being bled in the proper sequence?
Also bleed your system with master cylinder cap on not off and after you're done bleeding each wheel check your fluid level.
This should be the proper sequence but double to make sure.
RR-first
LF-second
LR-third
RF-fourth

The bleeder screw/nipple should be higher up than where the brake line attaches to the caliper. If the nipple is lower you will never be able to correctly bleed the system.
yes i mounted the calipers on the correct sides. i did find out what this issue was. Legend's calipers are on the back side of the hub as opposed to Integras, Accords, etc. where they are torwards the front. when u mount Legend calipers to Accords the bleeder valve ends up on the bottom. u are correct about the bleeder valve thing. air is lighter than brake fluid causing air pockets to be trapped upwards. i just switched them to the opposite sides (right caliper to left side visa versa) re bled them and they are stiff as can be now!! completely negates the idea of progressive piston sizing on dual piston calipers but fawk it they stop on a dime! haha.
