It is just a b series motor that spoon works over. They basically balance and blueprint the entire motor and use their parts. They are designed for high revs and circuit racing. Not really worth the price if you ask me. With the amount of money you would spend on a spoon engine you could just buy another honda engone and build it to your liking with better parts.

is that the dyno off a spoon motor?
or a mis-tuned 2000 type-r motor with some spoon internals that someone slapped together? (i do agree with you about buying what works, not a name though)

that is pretty much what you get with a spoon motor. Maybe less. They are for off-road track use and not ment for daily driving. If you going to go circet racing and are a baller with tons of cash flow, then by all means go right ahead. We here are just trying to save you a few pennies. And with the money you spend on that motor you could have built one yourself with much more power. But as the saying goes, "It's your money!"

ThEy ArE mAd PhAsT yO!

They just got popular because of you know what... and they aren't better. Just get your own plan together and build an engine with superior parts....

10x Better.

B16B Engine Assy. - B16B 10000-16B-901 380,000 yen 1Set
B18C Engine Assy. - B18C 10000-18C-901 380,000 yen 1Set

Right now its about 122.625 yen to the dollar..sooo its about $3114.75
for a spoon Blueprinted B16.

What spoon says:
(Overhaul Engine Assy : Each weight difference of the parts with which it moves in engine is united with less than 0.1g, a metal also improves burner capacity carefully again to less than 0.2 cc, and a skillful mechanic in the company assembles the parts of all engine again precisely for every one combination correctly)

so you get a b16b for just over $3000.?
awesome deal. why is everyone bitching. that's cheap for that motor.
oooohhhh, spoon. who cares, buy it because its a fresh ctr motor.
it does not rev to 14k, only to 9k safely. still, they know what they're doing and if i needed one, i would run it. i'm sure none of you **** talkers has even drivin a car with a spoon motor that you're so quick to slander.???
