Cheap Potential H4 Starting Point

I have GOT to believe that a 2nd Gen Integra would be a solid competitor in H4. It gives up a little in the weight department but it is a DOHC with more power stock than what most of the other H4 cars are putting down in race trim.
I have seen these cars kick *** and take names in ITA . . .
I bet you could get this car race-ready and competitive for between $3500 and $5000. I would love to see one of these built and run with us.

Why pay for all of that on a street car that needs a new engine when you can get a racecar that needs a new engine?

our you could buy my rx7 and be racing for 2000 as is (and be competitive w/ 95% of spec rx7's out there
