Hey HT been away from my hobby for a while bunch personal problems but where all good now thank god. I bought my wife a 1995 civic eg sedan last year and it was super clean I mean the Interior looked like no one ever sat in it. The body was flawless, just paint was not that great it was one of thoose paintjobs (Black) that dont have to much clear. The car has been very well taken care off. My only problem at the time was that it was automatic. I bought it for her, and it has been a great family car. I am planning on buying my wife a newer car and keep the eg for me as my project. It is a 95 Ex Power everything from mirrors,to windows, to sunroof,cruise control, abs system (All Works). In the condition that its in is rare to find plus everything working. I was wondering from the details I provided, do you guys think its a good Idea to keep the car and do a manual transmission conversion and continue from there. It is hard to come across eg like this now a days. I want to build this but I need my fellow HT members input to see if I have justified my self correctly lol. Thanks Guys.

 

If it was mine i'd swap it, auto to manual swap is pretty straight forward and a lot easier than body work.

like he said, the motor is decent, since its an ex model. just do the auto to manual swap and youll be having some fun.

 

Yea, body work is fine, prob just a paint job which is not bad I know some people. It has brakes on all 4 wheels and everything so it is set lol..but what you guys said is exactly what I was thinking of doing...Thanks for the response guys keep it coming =-)
