As you might know, I've been looking for a CRX for a while now.

Once in a while a nice one pops up, but it has an engine swap.

Should I wait until I find one with an original motor? Or can I safely buy a swap? I've read that swaps need a sticker to be legal and the ads I look at rarely mention having a sticker.

Would it be hard to buy a swap and then get it BAR'd, or is it more trouble than it's worth?

 

i wouldn't buy anything that isn't bar'd with the motor already. you'll spend more time and money trying to get it to pass with no guarantee of success. if it's already got the sticker, then go for it

 

What if you have a sticker for a swap(jdm d15b2) then you do another swap(jdm dohc zc) do you have to get another bar sticker?
