Default SRS Light on dash after installing harnesses

Hi,

This is a problem on my NSX and i have posted it in the NSX section on this forum however i know that this is also common with other Hondas and the fix may be the same. Also i doubt less people watch the NSX part of the forums and even less people have fitted harnesses to their NSX.

I have posted on couple of other forums and not getting the answer i need.

Basically i have removed my oem seat belts and fitted harnesses, bucket seats and a harness bar.

My car is a UK 1997 NA1 OBD2 which differ from the same age US models.

Basically after fitting the harnesses well removing the oem belts i now have a SRS light on the dash.

I have heard that some models of nsx they have a belt pretensioner which is part of the SRS system and is why i have the light after removing the lights.

I have also heard there is a fix using a jumper between pins or some say using a resister. What is this method, how do i fix it? Is there a guide?

Thanks.

I found this... but it's probably not going to fix your problem. I think you need to wire in a resistor.

How to reset the SRS light:

Wait here's what you need.. read this:
