I bought my OEM CF hood back in '06 and still to this day, it is like when I got it new. I believe its because I stored it in the garage and away from the sun all the time til whenever I want to drive it around town. I believe it's from the UV Rays that destroys teh clear coat. Either what wolfy said or take it to an Autobody shop and let them do it; it'll look like new again once the shop finishes up.

Anyway, good luck!

you will probably have to sand or recondition the surface somehow depending on how bad the clear coat is pealed. if you dont it will still look like sheeot and just have some gloss to it.

When they say "fisheye" i'm thinking of Fisheye Lens like on camcorders. Lol. 150-250 isn't too bad; at least it'll look like new and shiny again.

Krylon or Rustoleum makes a rattle can of clear coat that is UV resistant.

No idea. I've never had CF or tried to put a clear coat on it.

I am sure you could do a decent job with some appropriate prep work and I am sure it has been done before.

Good luck!

Make sure you do some research before to get as prepared as possible. Also, be sure to post up before/after pics and even a DIY!
