Carbon Fiber Vinyl, would this stuff last outside?
Im thinking of wrapping my some pieces that will see weather, a thin narrow spoiler and maybe some taillights with this stuff, and using it for some amp racks. My question is if it will last outdoors?

How good would this stuff stick to the outside of the car, say a piece that was bodyfilled smooth, would it stick to bodyfiller and not lift around the edges?
If I make it curve over a slightly rounded surface, would I have to gluw ie down on teh backside of the piece to keep it stuck down?

Now this thread goes off on a tangent about fake CF. 3...2...1....GO!
They still havent replied to my first question about shipping 2 days ago, and I need a product quick.
Im making a set of custom taillights for my daily driver (non honda) and want to use it for the area of the tails that wont have the 9" strip leds.
I figure I may be able to stretch the vinyl around to the backside of the tails and gorilla tape it down in place, or an epoxy... but id prefer if it just stuck on its own, and last and looked good after going throug 18 rain storms and some snow and ice freezing on it

i think they use a 3m brand they said it last like 5 years or so i dont remember exactly. but they said they do require more care then regular vinal.

I use alot of Oracal vinyls. Im 99% sure the have a cf vinyl. Never used it, but never have had a problem with any of their other kinds of vinyls
I have a lot of experience with vinyl and stuff and all I can say is don't do it! imagine removing the stuff after it's been baked on, dried, and cracked. If it sounds like hell trying to remove that stuff, don't do it. Oh and another thing, I sell that stuff that you linked. It's a bitch trying to remove it even after a couple of days in the sun. Stuff is very tacky and rips apart when you try to remove it. Looks friggin cool though. You can wrap almost anything with it. The hard part is trying to keeps the weave nice and straight because the material is very stretchy and it'll distort. It's nothing like vinyl decal material. It's like a thin foam spandex type stuff. More like stretchy fabric than vinyl.
Had a friend wrap his zx9 fairings (sp?) with it. Took forever to get it to lay correctly. And didnt even last through the summer before it faded and cracked. Ended up having to pay a body shop to remove it and respray the bike.
I used some on the center console of my S2000 (to cover the aluminum). It does not like curves and you would need to use the adhesive from 3m for best results. I am sure it would last 5 Ohio summers, but not 1 in Florida.
