4 sped clutch work on 5 speed?

Have a D16a6 that blew that had a (1991)4 speed std engine mounted to it,Will the 4 speed clutch fit a (1989) D15 5 speed trans?

man i never tried that but 90% sure yeah souldnt b a prob

Ok cause Someone said that the 88-89 had different teeth or what ever than the 90-91 on the shaft

The 88 would not work with 89~91.
That's the only issue.

Ok that might be what it is forsome reason i was thinking it was an 89 i'll ask the guy again what year its out of

He said its an 89 but someone said to count the splines

Counting the splines is an easy way to double check to make certain it's compatible.

You can even use EG+ D-series hydro clutches, but must use cable throw out bearing.
