since my last topic was old already, and no one wants to post in their i wanted to try to make a new thread... if you guys knew, i had to swap out my 90 hf crx dash, and engine harness into my 89 crx... problem here is... i replaced everything.. but theirs something wrong with connections here... my blinkers dont work, the tone you hear from the sound on your headliner(above your rear view mirror) thing keeps going... my clauster whenever i use the left turn signal, my temp gauge shoots up... and right one.. it tries to blink... but it does not ...
so wat im trying to say here.. can i possibly rewire the hf wiring components to the spare dx dash harness i got?
i keep poping num 1 fuse(turn signal)
who gots a nice noob understandable wire diagram here?

u got somethin grounding out check ur wires fom blinkers up to ur fusebox does the rear or the front or all blinkers not work

 

yea none of them work

since the whole dash harness is in one piece... if one ground is not connected... would it screw things up?

 

YES! Of course it could/would (depends if there are multiple grounds in different places for the same wire/circuit - not likely).
Just like disconnecting your negative cable from the battery - nothing works then.

 

ah k... ill check the grounds out then... would u have any idea why theirs like multiple ground wires that goesinto one small relay in the engine bay by the headlights?

 

it bend a wild for me but i have a new wark and need help on. i have a after marget autochips powermax that go on the ecu and need to know how to put it on or a diagrams would help. thanks jpullen

btw every ground is connected.. but yet nothing still works!!!

i fix couple tweaks, but not theirs more >.<

my rpm tach dont work no matter what i do
temp gauge also dont work
gas gauge dont either
as well as when i step on the brakes it works... but it turns on the gauge lights, clock lights, and corner lights >.<
the annoying door beep stays on too now >.<
wtf car runs fine tho :S

 

Which gauge cluster are you using?that might be causing some of your problems.

 

if ur rocking the 90 hf body harness u need the 90 cluster and dash harness.

 

everything wire wise was swap into this car and i used my hf gauge clauster

 

what would cause my brake lights to cross wires with the dash lights and corner lights?
when i use blinkers it stays a solid amber... doesnt blink ??
