Real USDM MUGEN CR-X Si
No tech I know, just figured that some people on here might appreciate this and being that if you're searching on here like I did, you will not find anything unless there is a thread...
So a few months back I came out of the gym and snapped a few pics of this car. It's the second time that I've seen it (old lady owner)
I left a note on the window but never heard back. I don't know any info about the car so don't ask...All I know is that it is an Original USDM 1st gen MUGEN CR-X Si that is owned by an older lady...enjoy

wow looks really clean an well taken care of. And are those the CF-48 rims on it with original plastic cover things??? If so those rims are really rare for some reason lol. I'd keep trying to buy that car if i were you.
Yes they are the Mugen CF-48's with the plastic Aero-discs that say Mugen Power on them lol. I have not seen this car for a few months but I am still on the lookout. That car needs a good home like mine
That car seems like it has had quite a few things stripped on it. For one, its missing some si-related emblems that it should have on there, also, the rear window louvers are gone, but the mounting strip on the top is still glued on there. I think it's missing the factory mud flaps which I believe were standard on si models. Otherwise, definitely in good shape.

Sorry adding a set of CF-48 wheels and the factory body kit do not make this a MUGEN anything. The wheels and "areo" package were over the counter accessories available at Honda dealerships in 85, 86 and maybe 87. Most likely these items were installed by the selling dealer before selling the CRX.
And for what it's worth thats not even an Si model CRX. Just a standard carburetor fed 1.5 model.
Either way for a 25yr old car it is looking pretty good.

Thats a standard 86-87 CRX with some Mugen CF48's on it, not an origional "Mugen CRX Si". It has the optional OEM Honda factory aero kit front bumper/rear bumper and fog lights. Nice OG car but not the "holy grail" real Mugen Si. One more thing, mud gaurds were never standard on CRX's.
No Mugen street or race aero kit, exhaust, suspension, stickers, ect. Just wheels...
