WOW! That mother should move. I think you will have no problem making it run in the 9's! Mind if I ask how much did you end up spending on the car?

Actually we didnt do too bad out of town but we definitely didnt gain much, if anything at all when we went out of town but thats cause our setup was not efficient at all. should be much better next year though

But hell, just ask us how hard it was to run high 9's from running low 10's lol we knocked down the 10's in one season... people arent lying though when they say its hard to go from low 10's to high 9's. Good luck this year though guys, its gonna be fun

ide love to see some 9 second d16's thats the engine i originally wanted to go with, but the shop i was dealing with at that time told me there was no way a single cam could run mid 10's lol (idiots)

speedfactory did well with theres last year, and you should do great with yours also man. just dont give up the dream and it will come true

i can deal with the heat, cause one of our events got snowed out and the other got rained out so racing here hasn't been the greatest

Nice setup you have going. You mind shedding more light on your tranny setup? Alot of people who are doing high hp Ds are doing D2Bs and you are sticking with the stocker. I like that. Also what cam... the 59500 or a custom Comp grind?

Yeah its a d-series tranny with custom stock gear ratios. It has a jdm zc lsd big spline diff. A hand cuff is being made for the tranny. I am not tryin to be like everyone else. I wanna be the first turbo sohc in the 9s with a d-series trans. The cam is a 59500.

looks good!

couple questions... are you using off the shelf weisco's with the bigger wrist pins? i always thought the weisco's weren't that great for big power setups?

secondly; why not put the water res up in the front bumper or where the pass seat goes, might help in the traction department.

again not criticizing just curious

The pistons are not off the self pistons. they are full custom. they are thicker skirts, roof and the are ceramic coated top, hard moly skirt coating, anti detination grooves, lateral gas ports, double pin oiler, Accumulator Grooves, and custom .200 wrist pins. and they are a custom forging. they are rated for 50+psi.

I cant fit a big enough resivior up front cause the exhaust comes out the driver side bumper now and my battery is on the passenger side.
