noisy water pump brand new. d15b7
as soon as i started the car this noise was present.
i thought it was bearings or something else. but once i got a stethoscope i pinpointed it to the new water pump i installed.
its a gmb water pump. i know its not a honda OEM.
oem parts are too damn expensive so i decided to go with some cheaper options.
heres the video the noise is very clear and its coming from water pump for sure.
i poked around the engine and it becomes very loud when i touch the water pump with the stethoscope pin. alternator doesnt make this noise either.
