Default Need help with making downpipe fit.

Alright so I had a blox manifold and a downpipe made for it from spoolin performance. I have now swapped out to an inline pro manifold and I just wanna keep this downpipe since I have it and it's very close to fitting. When test fitting the other day it was hitting the oil pan. So I had someone cut it and add 1.5" to it. Well now it now clears just fine but is off by a little bit. I can fit 2 fingers between the bottom of the pan and the downpipe so there is room for change. Plus he just tacked it on the bottom in case we had to change it up. I was thinking maybe remove 1/2" from the piece that was added and then pie cut that piece so it angles upwards????? Any suggestions on how to make it match up would be greatly appreciated.
I might just have to have the exhaust changed up a bit. I have to keep taking this to a guy who works for a custom motorcycle shop so it makes it a pain to work with. Thanks in advance H-T

I would remove 1/2" from that inserted section and refit the front part of your exhaust. You are almost flat face to face with the flanges so you cant do much with angling it without putting the flex under load.

Honestly the easiest way to do that would be to have taken out the 1.5" piece completely, bolt on the bottom piece and hold it where you need it and measure the distance from the lower piece to the upper piece.

But now that you have the 1.5" piece welded in, you may have to take it down little by little until it fits up right.

I just had him cut it at angle to raise the back up about 1/2. It will be good enough for now and I'll have my exhaust guy make it fit right.

It actually was almost a perfect fit. Not bad for not having the car around and just a few pics.
