need some help/advice about rims trouble
Alright guys, i dont know where i would post this i assume i own a honda and i will post it here.
here is my situation I bought a set of rota spec r from modesto ca. The store is called Crows Landing Tire and Wheels...and they ordered the wrong set of color of rims for me.
I specificly asked and texted them that i wanted a set of GUNMETAL i even double checked it by sending pictures of the set of wheels to them. The person that took my order said to me the rims he ordered was the picture i sent him. He then sent a picture of the rims that came in to my phone and i told him that i couldnt view and can he sent it again he never did.
Me also being a dumbass went got the rims and drove it home, it was a clouding day so i couldnt tell if it was gunmetal or not( i know i know my falut here). The color of the rims are called dark steel grey( the ones i have). I didnt know that these spec r came in flat blakc or steel dark grey whatever because i checked rota site and they only have gunmetal and white only. also I just ordered it four days ago and drove it home but it off of the car right after the drive back home because i wasnt sure. (this may have cost me of getting my right rims)
Now they are telling me i cannot exchange the rims or return the rims. I told them that why do I have to keep the rims that i didnt order, all i wanted is to get the right color that i have requested. I told them i will keep the tires that came with it just want the right color rims. They then told me that best cast scenrio i return it and only get 50% back money and thats if their guy is wrong. I also still got text messaging of the color i want and picture of it that is gunmetal. the rims are practically new, driven it home about 60-70 miles home taken off until further research was done...
so basicaly they telling me to **** off cause they got my money....
i need some advice on what to say to them or anything that is helpful...
thanks

So you got them, mounted them, and drove on them? Sounds like your a owner. Most places wont do that because if there are any scratces from you driving, or from the mounting process, they will have to re sell them as used rims, Understanding that the are the wrong color and you putting this:
"Me also being a dumbass went got the rims and drove it home, it was a clouding day so i couldnt tell if it was gunmetal or not( i know i know my falut here)"
says your a owner, sorry just my opinion

Not that this is a technical question but you now own those rims. Should have inspected them BEFORE they mounted them-as in right out of the box.
