What goes here or what is its function ?
Took this motor out to do the clutch, put it back in but I forgot what was connected here. Help indetifying this is appreciated.
The part I'm talking about is the stem looking thing coming out of the manifold, thanks HT. Its a D15B1

What's the function of it ? I dont remember why I removed it. So is there a hose that connects here and connects to something else ? Im assuming that all the steam i get when i drive the car comes from here

There is a hose that connects from the underneath the intake and runs up through the middle of the intake and goes on top of the pcv valve. Your motor will not be able to breathe. I know if it is gunked up your motor will suffer MPG's. I've never ran with out one so idk. If yours is DPFI you will only have one hose to connect. If it is MPFI you will have two hoses to connect. Ignore the things in the red. I used orange in the picture to show where the stuff it.
Agreed with the others that what your photo shows is an extremely gunked up PCV valve, with its connecting hose missing. Unscrew the valve. Replace it with an OEM one for around $15. Get the correct hose (maybe from a junkyard?). Clean hose with PB Blaster; push a rag through it; install. On a D15B1 the hose runs from the breather chamber to the PCV valve to the intake manifold, per parts 10, 4, and 1 below:

The breather chamber is a bit hard to get to.
Leaving the old PCV valve as is will likely result in poor fuel mileage and seals like the oil pan gasket leaking, due to high pressure in the crankcase.

Fosho, ima replace it this weeekend since it looks easy to do, thankd for the help.
If my ECU is throwing the Air Intake Temp code what do I have to reconnect or replace ?
