yeah it will work.. make sure you get the match ecu(p28), y8 headgasket (high comp), z6 timing belt(b7 &z6 are the same i believe), water pump and tensioner.. also make sure you pull out the oil jet thing between cyliinder 3 and 4 i believe..could be wrong but its in the middle of the block you cant miss it.. goodluck.
