Automatic 99 civic LX Tranny compatibilty questions

So my Gf's Auto trans is going out and i want to know what options i have for replacement auto transmissions. Will a 92-95 auto trans also work ( its a Hydro trans so this is why i though it m ight be a possible solution ) ? Or do i have to stay withing the EK years of the transmission?

Yes, '96 - '00 Civic is all that works.

Yes, '96 - '00 Civic is all that works.

That's right... i was still thinking of 5 speed transmissions when i posted that. Sorry.
