hey guys i have a 1999 honda prelude with the jdm h22a. i spun a rod bearing and was wondering if there was a difference in size on the usdm h22a4 and jdm h22a. if one of you guys happens to know please help me i am going to have my crank turned and micropolished. then order whatever size i need but i wanting to know which year to order bearings for.

they are all the same, just get them based on color codes.

the h22a4 may actually have thinner main journals, get it for a 93-96 h22a1

 

which rod was it mate? number 3?

dont reccomend having crank reground

 

yes it was number 3 how do u know that u a sicick or whatever. and im really just getting it to where it will run long enough to go trade in or sale it. honestly but if it wont quit knocking then i will replace whole motor once again

 

Regardless of year, the rod bearings are all the same size. The mains are what vary depending on the year.
