Looking at replacing my clutch and flywheel for my d16 during my trans swap....

Does anyone have experience with Competition Clutch or if anyone has advice on other clutch kits??

I am looking at this Competition Clutch kit http://competitionclutch.com/products/index.php?id=400 (CK-8022-2) which is a stg 2 w/ a lw flywheel. Its $494 for everything (w/o shipping). I haven't seen many kits this price besides knock-off ebay kits.

 

What's your power goals?

 

Well, for now just stock. But hopefully by the end of this summer i want to put together a turbo set-up for 180-200whp on the d16. Not much, but i do drive spirited and drag race every so often.

 

i have seen oe clutchs hold around 250 but i would get a stage 2 sprung competition. i have been very happy with there twin disk.

Have been using competition clutches from a while. Excellent products and vfm. I would also suggest a Stage 2 for your power goals.
