ive been told that titanium wears out fairly quick, i want something that lasts. is there anything that is stronger and lighter then stock? how much of a difference will retainers make if i already have ss valves and good, duel springs? can i just use stock ones?

Damn, I guess owning a Hondata system is like being in the mafia, the code of silence.

 

I have 13000 miles on my engine, without any problems with my ti retainers.

 

Who told you they wear out quick?

 

I wish we could get chromoly retainers like the V8 bubbas. Ti is a hard metal that galls anything that is softer. If it isn't a good grade of Ti it will wear prematurely and fail. Quite a few H-T members have had problems with premature Ti retainer wear.
