Engine swap

Any swap issues or electric issues for swapping a 98 auto b18b1 into a 98 auto civic?

Yep. Lots of both. It is infinitely easier to swap in a manual than it is to try to do an automatic B-series swap in a 6th gen civic.

why not go with the manual swap as well? save yourself a great deal of headache, and get the most out of that ls motor.

its almost near impossible but has been done with alot of work. the b series auto transmission is alot bigger then a D series automatic and would have clearance issues. manual transmission would fit rite in with alot less work.

b series auto tranny is too large and wont fit in the car. Also there are no mounts that I know of that will hold it properly. And the wiring for auto is a complete bitch, and it is different from D to B series. its really not worth the time to try to do an automatic swap. Convert it to manual or don't swap it at all.
