Default RoadRace/AutoX Spring Rates for CRX

So I'm hoping to get more involved mostly in autocrossing this year with my 91 Crx Dx. I'm looking to get Koni/GC coilovers set up since it looks this is the most recommended as i learned from my research. My question is what's the best spring rate for hard cornering/braking/accelerating? I don't care if it's too stiff on the streets. At what point does is rate to high that it won't function right? I will be running 205/?/15's if this helps any. Thanks guys!

Some of the fastest Honda racers started at 400f/600r and won with that. But if you're just starting out, go with less rear spring to make it less tail happy. Off the shelf konis are ok to start, but you'll eventually want to revalve it later. And there's usually a 22mm sway in the rear.

Autox rates differ. Redline or redshift motorsports page has an autox setup primer for an EF civic which will probably be the same until you get up to speed. Just google it.

I'm assuming you will be taking the car to SCCA Solo II autocross events, correct? Have you decided which class you want to run in? You should probably review the rule book because certain suspension mods can throw you into a modified class in which you're greatly out-gunned by other vehicles.

But, if you're just looking to do it for fun and enjoyment (not really competing) then don't worry about the class. Have you ever autocrossed before? You might want to try it out with whatever suspension you have now and get familiar with how it handles, and then move on to more suspension mods.
