well i have a thread in the paint and body section with a 93 hatch it started with a rust bucket then i trashed that and got a cleaner teal si hatch with front end damage. any way i have a 94 Purple Honda Civic Ex coupe i was doing for my daily driver well instead of putting money into the hatch i started dumping it in the coupe i know kinda not smart lol. impatient i guess id say. so i started it off with a ebay exhaust from a friend. i have no pics of that. then i put a ls swap in her and thats where it all started. the pic of the motor is a lil old i cleaned it up and put a new valve cover on it. i have more pics but ill post them tomorrow when i get my camera.

 

i dropped it 2 in. on eibach springs as well

 

nice man, if you ever get the hatch to a drivable condition you could always swap places with the coupe. than dump money into it when its not a DD. id make the l.s the vtec too..

 

yeah thats what im thinking of doing but not sure of it right now.

i do like the car, but if i was to do anything i would get another turbo manifold... that one is damn near garenteed to crack

really, i got it from a guy thats had it on his car and said it was doing fine? but i never used it so idk

 

they do good for a little bit, but they are made out of cheap metal and they crack really easily. honestly, if you are going budget build i would just get a cast ebay manifold and throw it on.

 

Def stay with the purple, maybe go a dark Royal Purple..

 

UPDATES. i got some blox racing red LCA's. well i had them for a bit lol but i thought i post some pics since they are going on this car.

 

i wouldnt run those. stock are so much better. you will end up replacing them in a month or so

 

man for real or did u just have a bad experience? lol jk i herd the bushings suck. but i got them from a good guy i know and i guess just wanted to give him a hand when he was helping my with my springs long story i dont feel like explaining lol, ok what about Skunk2? i like them and herd good about them

 

Just get new bushings pressed in, those will last you a few weeks until they blow out.

 

so the bushings in there now are junk so your saying get new ones pressed in correct?

 

Sorry i changed my mind, but i agree. Unless those are like, from a straight up racing manufacterer i wouldnt trust em to be as durable as your stock ones, think of it like an autozone replacement part. .

 

honestly Autozones parts SUCK idc what anyone says hate on this all you want i HATE auto zone lol

 

i forgot to mention that there is a skunk2 3in. exhaust on it now
