I was wondering if any of you guys have the "JDM Style" Depo headlights, and if so would you recommend them?

I have the OEM headlights which I painted black myself, but they are all foggy now i have tried cleaning them and they just won't clear up.
I don't want to spend 400 dollars on used JDM headlight or 800-1000 on new headlights.

A lot of people run the depo headlights. If I was stuck with the ugly chrome 02-04 I'd probably buy the depos or do the DIY housing painting.
You don't want JDM headlights anyways because they are designed for RHD

Went with depo's after I had problems with my retrofits. I was and am very impressed with them. The quality of my depo's actually seem to be better than the OEM headlights. Just my opinion but I do recommend if you don't want to spend OEM prices. I went with black not chrome and they are nice!
i heard that depo's in the longrun are worse than oem
they wear yellow and fog up faster.
like if you decide to keep your car for a long time...might as well go oem?
i'm wondering also because i am deciding whether to dish out the money for
LHD EDM projectors
or just getting Depo's for my ep

i used depos.. and they looked great for as long as i took care of them.. i took my time to make sure they were sealed and installed correctly. the price is significantly less.. but do remember these were based off the jdm version.. which were designed for rhd cars.. so your these will require some adjustment.
Maybe I got lucky but I have had no leaks. I checked the seal when I got them but could not find any issues. It has been about 4months and no moisture issues. Any headlight wether OEM or aftermarket will haze or get a yellowish tint after awhile. You need to protect your headlights. I use Meguiar's Plastx on both OEM and aftermarket headlights. I use it after every wash once a week if possible.

The plastx not only protects but polishes out any haze buildup. But if the biuld up is excessive you will have to possibly sand an polish your headlights. There are a lot of DIY info out there if needed though. If you use the meguiars or another polish/protectant regularly you will not have to worry about going to the extreme to restore your headlights. All plastic headlights are going to wear due to weather.
Only thing that concerns me is that if Im going to spend the time and more importantly the money to retrofit these will they last. Hate to cut em up and get the retrofit in and then the cheap lenses haze or something.
