Default Chipped p72

I was planning on getting a chipped p72 ecu. I was wondering if it would work with my stock gsr intake mani. Would it open up the butterflies? Thanks.

If the ECU supports the butterflies then yes, it will open them. Unless you disable it.

The p72 is the stock GSR ECU, therefore should work unless the butterflies are removed or the intake manifold is swapped out for a single runner style (ITR, Skunk2, Edelbrock)

You're not even going to mention running a "chipped" ecu with a random fuel map is like THE worst thing you can do for your motor?

Not true, depends what he has done to it. If it's a bone stock car then the factory ecu is the best way to go. If not then a chipped ecu with the correct basemap would be the only and better way to go.
