I want to know
where do the Black and Red wires from the
92-95 EG JDM parking pole
connect to on the car the ****FACTORY**** way.
I already have the factory (yellow/red) and (yellow/white) JDM harness to switch.
im only missing the black and red side which is seperate.

Ima guess red to +12v, and black is ground

Red to parking lights (RED/BLK), BLK to ground.

Unless you have JDM Headlights with "City Lights", there's no point. You're missing an adapter harness which plugs into the City Lights, which you don't HAVE on your USDM headlights. So, just tap into RED/BLK and BLK and be done with it. Don't believe me? Here's some photos.

Now i just need to find ""that"" harness that way i can also follow a DIY for city lights in USDM headlights or maybe pick up some JDM ones.

LOL. Good luck finding it. I would just make it myself if I were you ... in fact this thread has inspired me to look up where to find the proper connectors to do just that (from a 92-95 Civic).

2-PIN BRN (F) (Flat) = Connector for the sunroof motor (on the roof)
2-PIN BRN (F) (Square) & 2-PIN WHT (M) = Washer motor connectors - not sure if front or rear washer (these are different, but one will be identical)

 

yea that was my plan from the beginning to see if it can make it myself. or find one if i get lucky.

 

Could you not plug jdm harness in to your side lights instead of city lights

Even if the plug for the side markers was the same as the city light connector, you would only be able to use the parking pole when the PARKING LIGHTS were turned on... connecting the red/black wire to a 12v switched source and grounding the black wire in the original kits city light plug provides the necessary connection to run the parking pole when the car is on.
