Doing a Rebuild on my Daily, Question about Gaskets/seals
So i'm doing a stock rebuild on my daily driver (2000 GSR) and I want to know what you think as far as where to get the gaskets/seals for the engine. Should I buy them all from Honda or would something like Felpro be ok? any input would be appreciated thanks!
Truthfully with all the motors I have built and this is coming from a ASE certified technician with dealership experience. I would just pay the money and buy OEM products because the way I look at it is if something is not perfect as far as quality is concerned with aftermarket gaskets, I don't want to tear it down again and waste money/time.
What gaskets/seals do I need? This is what I came up with lmk if its right or if i'm missing anything..
-Rear Main Seal
-Front Main Seal
-Oil Pan Gasket
-Head Gasket
-Cam Seals
-Valve Cover Gasket
-Oil Pick up Gasket
-Vtec selanoid Filter and o-ring
Also Would you resuse the headbolts or get new ones/arps?
Thanks!
