Well, my 91 civic standard didnt come with intermitent wiper, just low and high. Its pretty annoying, most times when it rains around here the low setting is wiping the windscreen way too much lol. So i pulled a switch off a sedan that had a intermitent setting and put in on my car thinking it would work, but it doesnt. Is there some kind of relay i need or get a wiper motor thats on an intermitent car for it to work? I cut the pigtail off the intermitent switch to compare it to my non intermitent switch and theyre exactly the same, no extra wires or anything.

 

Perhaps the wiper motor is shot.
