Suspension/swaybars
Ive been told many different things about sway bars on an eg hatch I was told that ITR sway bars 25mm front and 23mm rear will fit on a hatch. But then I've also been told there's no way they will fit....has anyone tried installing them on an eg hatch? Or is it true that they don't fit....thanks a lot before i buy them lol
The rear bar will fit, I have one installed. It's recommended to get an ASR or F7 brace. There are more accounts of subframe tearout on 96-00 Civics, but the 92-95 wasn't designed for this thick of a bar, so...
The front bar, just get a regular Civic bar. A lot of people prefer either no front bar or a thinner front bar to make it a little more tail happy. The understeer created by a thicker front bar is considered safer, but whatever you do, get used to it before driving spiritedly.

I've got the ITR rear bar with ASR brace on my EH3 right now, no fitment issues. Kept the oem Si front sway bar, I like the feel better with this setup.

I dont agree that a ASR is a must for you. I personaly know of several people runing ITR rear sway bars on both EG and DC's without any problems. They do get road raced and autoX'd quite a bit in the summer.
EG/DC's have a thicker subframe then a 96-00. 96-00 is the one you really have to be carefull with, they dont like large sway bars without a brace.
It really depends on the sway bar you are looking at. 19mm and below, stock subframe all day, no problems. 19mm+ you should look into something, just to be carefull and just for peace of mind.
I personaly have never heard of EG have a problem with subframe tearout, only a few 96-00's. Your driving habbits also play a large roll in it.
YES, if I were you, I would get a ASR, but they arent required.
No, for the front end you wont need anything besides the LCA's, and of corse the sway bar hardware/endlinks.
With my sway bars, I run ES poly bushings for the sway bars and Blox adjustable endlinks. Both are cheeper than stock, and work just fine. Endlinks arent going to last nearly as long though.

Hey 98civdx, I am planning to get some coil overs Togo along with the sways ....my buddy says that if I get ITR sways I have to get iTR lca's and coilovers.....how true is this or will any dc lca work?
So I picked up f/r gsr sway bars ....installed ....rear went in perfect with stock gsr lca's the front however needed more massaging to fit the subframe. the D bushing barely clears on both sides. It's not a big deal but has anyone else had this issue?!
Ohh, Sorry I never saw you post that. No, you don't need ITR LCA's to use the ITR sway bar.
If you do get ITR LCA's you'll need ITR specific shocks.
Is there a arrow on the D bracket? If so, it needs to be pointed forward.
I didn't have any problems on my sway bar install, but I have 98.

Most autocrossers tend to consider a smaller front sway bar an upgrade. the 26mm bars are just too much once you get decent suspension modifications.
Edit: If you need integra rear LCAs for your swaybar, I've got a good condition set from my brake conversion you can have, $55 shipped
OEM quality, blox/skunk2 etc will just tear out.

Yea I believe the arrows are pointed to the front......I'll check when I go to work, as for the rear lca I got dc2 oem ones... interesting info on the aftermarket rear lca, could you elaborate? TIA!
It's the bushings. The really do not last. Sure, there has been some people with good results with them, however the majority of the people who use the have the bushings fail rather quickly. The blox LCA's are much worse then skunk2 though. Skunk2 has a new bushing out that is supposed to be much better then the last ones. Blox has noithing. But they do sell replacement bushings, but they are crap just like all the others.
