Alright i have a 99 civic si with the stock b16a2 in it with a short ram intake and a dc sport header and the codes are showing that all cylinders are misfiring and a random misfire, spark plugs are new, wires are new well been recently changed, dis. cap is good. i have been told it was the coil, wires but im not positive and money is tight right now so can't spend too much money so i need some help please.

if you need any more info ask all you want so we can get at the bottom of this so i can pass those emissions and reg. my car.

 

what about the rotor? have you ever had the valves adjusted? If you get one misfire they typically spread if it's bad enough, which seems to be the case here.

 

It could be the rotor but like i said i can't spend too much money cause it's pretty tight til i sell my other car. I don't know about the valves cause i just got the car about two weeks ago or so.

 

The FAQs sticky has diagram that tells you how to test the coil. Do that.

Also remove the ICM and have it tested at an auto parts store.
