Mustang dyno??
Hey guys, I'm new to the whole dyno thing, but ever since I have swapped my eBay intake for a AeM short air ram, and completed my full exhaust, my d16z6 del sol went from 33mgp in town driving like a idiot to 25mpg into like am idiot. I'm think this is my air/fuel ratio, but here is th good news I have a tuner about 15 mins away that has a mustang dyno, and I'm not really sure what all the differences are between all the different types of dynos are. I have heard that mustangs dyno low ball your numbers, is this true? And the dyno shop also offs a air/fuel ratio tune and I'd figure I'd get my numbers then get my mpg back you know?let me know guys thanks.
Well what do you think that since I swapped intakes(I do feel a difference in between the AEM intake, from a cheapo one) that it and a full exhaust could cause my ecu to mess up my air fuel ratio? Process of elimination I came up with. Mpg never dropped until my intake and exhaust were current and full so I'm thinking that I'm getting to much air in and it's making my injectors inject more because there is so much more air being moved in and out but not enough fuel being injected so It injects to much fuel, cause it thinks my fuel is to lean.
