Will be my first time, can't believe I missed last years.

 

Huge event In brainard Minnesota drag auto x and drift u can look it up I don't have a link for it if someone could post one it would be appreciated

 

Should be done if all goes well. Picked up a ton of work recently.

Will have an all motor k24 eg, street car. Might even drive it out there if I don't buy a trailer before the event.

OMG one of my fav events i went to last year...even though i broke at qualifiers....guys over at MAPerformance are super nice and supportive..great event they got going alot of fast cars from all over came down last year...big all motor class and big Street Forced Induction class...cant wait to this year

 

WE need to come down there hard this year....all the shop cars and customer cars that will be done this year...RCA, SUJA, Profunction, One Six, Strictly, and maybe even Drivers Image..lets all go so we can show that Chicago has got something going on...prove ourselfes to the other states...ILL GARAGE is inviting 5 customer cars that will compete and hopefully if all goes well both our shop cars mine and Armondos..like mike said we plan to caravan down so the more the merrier...

 

We'll be there. Hopefully my car is done by then. Will be running in the TS class again.

 

Too bad my car won't be ready by then but will probably go and support the team. Thumbs up for Ill Garage for spending the whole night changing the gear set if I remember correctly. Hopefully we can make this event grow bigger by each year.

 

Haha we had both transmissions out in an hour and the trans guy jake had a good trans back together in no time, and the trans went back in, but on the install the beers had gotten to me and i didnt tighten down one of the starter bolts all the way and it backed out causing minor issues. Damn coronas!

But ya the event is dope, all the maperformance guys were cool and a big help. Would love to see the winner circle be all chicago cars

 

Pb it isn't slow, car moves out, just had minor set backs last year. I'm stoked to see what it does this year! And on the real, I think you have fastest all motor street car in the Chicagoland area!

 

All goes well ill be seeing u boys up there...should be fun for a weekend

We plan to triple attendance year over year again so I am thinking minimum 3500 in attendance and 500+ racers! If anyone has input on how we can make the event better please let us know we love the feedback. I am working on dialing the details and sponsors but I feel last years event went very smoothly and the classes were pretty much ideal....

We put tire restrictions in the classes, which make the classes pretty fair.

And I think it's more exciting seeing an evo run against a turbo civic.

 

I'm for sure planning on going.

 

We'll try to bring a couple cars out. I dont know if we'd have anything thats heavily competitive in the drag event but it'd be cool to try and get some track time on brainerds road course. Is there a way to do both?

Also....has anyone in chicago with an all motor street car gotten 11.4X's or faster?

Road coarse will be open for high speed auto x on Saturday same as last year so you certainly can do both drag racing and road coarse. We plan to have similar set up as last year with auto x and drifting sharing space and running at alternating times throughout both days and possibly some stunt bike shows during intermission! Sunday we have a sport bike club coming out and running the road coarse....should be cool to watch, and anyone with a bike can participate!

 

They space the events out pretty well. I beleive you would only have a problem doing both on the 1st day. 2nd day shouldn't be an issue.

The BIR facility is top notch! Last year it rained hard Saturday night and the track was dried and prepped in a couple hours. Racing went on without delays. Event is competitive but it's more about hanging out and having fun. Get there a day early, the guys at MAP drive around with atvs handing out beer all day Friday, Saturday night and Sunday.

 

Ill be there running in the all motor class. Semi built motor should be done by then. We need more all motor cars!!

Yes! My tahoe will be packed with beer and grub! Track was dope n uber sticky! Mikey get Oscar to bring the ef out, bitch hauls *** and still reps the b series all motor! I'm excited to see who will be joining me in the all motor class.
